Heal Yourself and Your World Through Your Creative Imagination... Drama Therapy & Expressive Art Therapies

We do not teach people how to act...We teach people how to "Not" act

Drama therapy is the intentional use of drama and/or theater processes to achieve therapeutic goals. Drama therapy is active and experiential.

"The arts abound at times of nightfall, death, birth, war, and natural disaster, for they help to encapsulate terror. If psychological trauma is the origin of art, is it any wonder that the creative arts therapies hold so much promise as a reparative force?"—David Johnson, Essays on the Creative Arts Therapies.

Bobby & Stacey McCall Pollack, M.S. Psychology with a specialization in Crisis Management,Response, & Mediation. Narrative-therapy Coach.

Drama Therapist-in-training.(Program starts in the Fall, if accepted)

"Research in neuroscience is supporting the role of the arts in healthy psychological development and in recovery from trauma." CIIS

Crisis Intervention, Prevention, and Recovery

Our expertise is in working with clients that have experienced or are experiencing crisis and trauma.

Our therapeutic orientation is an integration of Narrative Therapy and Drama Therapy. Our philosophies are an integration of existential and person-centered.

Please click on "Discuss MH" in the menu to the left for more information on these areas. I will also put a link under services.

"You may not be able to change your past but you can change your ending. Make it a great one."

Our Goals for This Site

1: Help our visitors and clients use creativity to resolve conflict and re-author their life stories.

2: Demystify the art and science of therapeutic intervention through free psycho-education and case studies.

3: Provide a creativity haven for students and professionals in the mental health care fields, with a focus on mid-career level students.

4: Provide mental health-care and analysis to those seeking Independent crisis management and recovery coaching.

5: Give back to humanity (through future) probono therapeutic efforts. We want to work with people that have suffered or are suffering tragedy with the plan to emerge as courageous victors.

6: Make mental health intervention and prevention affordable to people, especially those that cannot (Or choose not to) reach mental health specialists by way of traditional office visits.

*Workshops for Kids and Employees on communication and mediation skills.

We also mediate between bullies and targets of bully's within the school system. We include teachers, guardians, and parents.

Please see "About the Authors" on the menu for further information. Both Stacey and Bobby have a background in psychology and the expressive art therapies.
