Creative Counseling
M.S.M.H.C. = Masters of Science in Mental Health Counseling Candidate. Candidate refers to the degree goal while in the program. I am currently in a Masters of Science program and therefore, I'm a candidate for the Masters of Science in Mental Health and Forensic Counseling once I complete the coursework requirements. You'll often see, PhDc for PhD students. Doctorate of Philosophy candidates. ACA: American Counseling Association or the Australian Counseling Association. I make the distinguished by adding .au beside the acronym "ACA.au" when I'm referring to the Australian Counseling Association.
