Teletherapy

This is our list of adult TV programing that we feel creates positive flow between the program and audience watching at home. Please share your favorites that have been motivational for you.

Online programs are fine too.

If the show is no longer broadcasting give us a location where we can find it such as Netflix or Nick- at- Night.

Warning

The following shows are general recommendations. However not all shows are suitable for everyone. Watch and enjoy as long as you do not set yourself up with unpractical goals for your life. Some viewers are claiming that these types of shows make them feel less motivated and like failures. If any show has a negative effect on you -don't watch it.

Celebrity Rehab

The Marriage Ref

Drop Dead Diva

We recommend this show because the underlying question asks, is love only skin deep? We find out the answer as the story unfolds. __________________________________________________________

Community

I like this show particularly for mid-career students returning to school. Helps us to laugh at ourselves and know that we are not alone.

"Friday Night Lights"

Discusses teen and cultural issues in a responsible, sensitive, and entertaining way.

Lie to Me
Based on a true deception expert played by Tim Roth.

Breakthrough with Tony Robbins

Be sure to catch Tony Robbins new show on NBC. Bobby and I have been fans of his for years. The show is amazing. I cried all through it but it was mostly happy tears.

What do you think about shattering your belief system by doing something extremely psychically challenging? Tony claims that this kills your limiting belief because you've already done it. Admittedly, I have trapped myself in paralysis analysis on occasion and have also been a prisoner of my own limiting beliefs. I think this is true of most people that have suffered crisis and trauma.

I do not recommend going out and doing something dangerous without training. I'm sure that Tony's crew were the best of the best.

Losing it With Jillian

The Biggest Loser

As long as you do not set up unpractical goals. Some viewers are claiming that these types of shows make them feel less motivated and like failures. If any show has a negative effect on you don't watch it. ___________________________________________________________

Modern Family

It celebrates the real blended families.

_______________________________________________________________

Glee

Tackles teenage and adult issues while celebrating the expressive arts therapy.

"Rescue Me" Warning not suitable for children or those that are sensitive to strong language, violence, or crude behaviors. However, if you can get past that it is a triumph of art and great acting. It follows the a man that is a hero on the outside and a drunkard inside. ________________________________________________________________
