Cinematherapy PTSD

post traumatic stress Disorder
(PTSD)...

The Hurt Locker

This film is about soldiers returning from the Iraq war. It's a film shot in documentary style and authentically brings the war and the mental challenges of war home. Especially the grocery store scene.

R- Netflix

Ask Yourself:

- How did you feel when you observed the lawyers attitude and creative thought despite the wishes of his family and peers?

- How and where in your life could this attitude help you?

- How would this make you feel if you could change as dramatically as Mike Downey did?

-Would it help your self-esteem? How and why? Did this film inspire you to change your life or create new thought?

Please share and/or suggest a film re: PTSD. We'd love to hear from you.
